The Gold Coast region is located in southeast Queensland with access by the Gold Coast domestic and international airport or one hour south of Brisbane Airport. The Gold Coast stretches from Cabarita Beach in New South Wales, west to Beaudesert, north to Beenleigh and east to South Stradbroke Island. The region features 70 kilometres of uninterrupted coastline and is fringed by rainforest hinterland, including World Heritage-listed Lamington National Park. The Gold Coast is home to well renowned shopping centre such a Pacific Fair and Robina Town Centre as well a Theme Park, Dreamworld, Movie World, SeaWorld and Wet and Wild.
The Gold Coast provides infrastructure including trains from Brisbane to Varsity Lakes, a light rail service in the heart of the Gold Coast City from Gold Coast University Hospital to Broadbeach South. As well are frequent buses from Southport to Tweed Heads, NSW.
